This is our second home and is very very different from the first. It taught me a great design lesson that I’ve used with many clients since: design a home in a style you never get tired of. This is quite a tall ask for someone who loves interiors. There is nothing like having to sell everything and start from scratch again to realise that the best way to create an interior you will always love is to be true to yourself and not to follow trends. My husband and I have always loved beach house style and look forward to Decembers spent at the sea. Those beach holidays are some of my happiest memories and we wanted to capture that feeling all year.
