This family loves to entertain on a regular basis and has a large circle of family and friends. As a result when we first saw their existing lounge it was full of seating options (ottomans, occasional chairs and an oversized couch) but had no flow and the layout was completely wrong. We flipped the room placing the new couch on the wall facing the garden and added custom wood slats to the existing fireplace to bring the fireplace forward visually. Two additional occasional chairs increased the permanent seating to seven at a push. We used a supersized mirror to increase the feeling of spaciousness and sheer floor to ceiling custom drapes on wave rails to finish off the look.
